Taking off down the road, he pushed it to 80 mph, enjoying the rush. "Amazing," he thought as he flew down the interstate, pushing the pedal even more. Suddenly, there was a State Trooper in his rear view mirror, lights flashing and siren blaring. He floored it and before he knew it he was going 140 mph. Suddenly he thought, "What am I doing, I'm too old for this!" and pulled over to await the Troopers arrival. Pulling up behind him, the Trooper got out of his cruiser and walked up to the car. He looked at his watch, then said,"Sir, my shift ends in 20 minutes. Today is Friday. If you can give me a reason for speeding, one I've never heard before, I'll let you go without giving you a ticket." The man paused for a moment, then said, "Three years ago, my wife ran off with a State Trooper. I thought you were trying to bring her back."
